As Founder and President of Spring Creek Partners, Jim Whitteron has provided Private Residence Club development, resort operations, rental management and marketing/sales management services to a variety of domestic and international resort developments achieving more than $600 million in sales over the past 24 years.
Spring Creek Partners pioneered the Private Residence Club industry in 1992 with the development of the Deer Valley Club in Park City, Utah. Until the Deer Valley Club, a $150,000 luxury fractional ownership was unimaginable. The success of the Deer Valley Club spawned a new type of vacation home development which quickly became the fastest growing segment of the vacation home industry. Over 200 Private Residence Clubs have been developed on five continents and in 36 countries.
Prior to the development of Private Residence Club, Jim served as a Project Director for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and launched his luxury hospitality career when he was appointed as the COO of Deer Valley Resort during the critical start up phases. Deer Valley Resort (Park City, Utah) has held the number one rating among mountain resorts in the USA since it opened in 1981.
Jim holds a Masters Degree from the University of Utah Graduate School of Business and is a frequent speaker at industry gatherings including the ULI Conference in May, 2015.
